Cannon Moss Brygger Architects (CMBA) is pleased to announce that Scott Birney, Jon Thomas, Amanda Balhorn, and Shane LaBenz have joined our Grand Island staff.
Scott Birney
Scott Birney joins CMBA as a Structural Engineer. Birney has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Swarthmore College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Birney previously worked for Olsson Associates and RockSol Consulting Group, Inc.
Jon Thomas
Jon Thomas joins CMBA as a Technician. Thomas attended Central Community College and brings 15 years of drafting experience to CMBA, previously working for W Design Associates in Hastings, Nebraska.
Amanda Balhorn
Amanda Balhorn joins CMBA as an Interior Designer. Balhorn received her Bachelor of Science in Design–Interior Design, and minor in Product Design, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Balhorn interned with HDR Architecture, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska, and is an Associate member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
Shane LaBenz
Shane LaBenz joins CMBA as an Intern Architect. LaBenz received his Bachelor of Science in Design and Master of Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. LaBenz was a graduate teaching assistant for 2 years and is an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
