The researchers tested the impact of color on productivity by giving three groups of employees clerical tasks to complete in three different rooms, each painted a different color: red, white and aqua. Some individuals were able to block out the color “noise,” while others were distracted by it. The article goes on to discuss how colors will affect people differently and evoke a different mood or attitude. Because at the end of the day, it goes back to how we individually respond. Each employee will respond differently to space and color, but take a chance and add some color into your life!
